Our story
WYLDE was founded in Cork in January 2021 with a clear belief: that esports could be taken seriously — as a sport, as an industry, and as a force for good. What followed was four years of competing at the highest levels of European esports, building infrastructure, forging partnerships, and proving the concept.
That journey — from founding to Tier One Rainbow Six, from grassroots events to the National Esports Centre — is the foundation of everything we offer today.

A new chapter
WYLDE formally transitions to a professional services model, channelling four years of competitive and operational expertise into three specialist service lines: events and broadcast, education and digital skills, and QA and UX testing. The National Esports Centre opens as Ireland's esports hub, and WYLDE achieves Tier One status in Rainbow Six through a structured Academy programme — a final marker of competitive excellence and validation of our knowledge base across the esports ecosystem as we step into our next era.

A force for good from day one — inspired by co-owner Usain Bolt, WYLDE's charitable commitment sits at the heart of the organisation's identity.
WYLDE's competitive teams — Rainbow Six, Trackmania, Rocket League, EAFC, Valorant — were the proving ground for everything we now bring to partners. Our athletes competed at EU League level, achieved European titles, reached World Championship semi-finals, and represented Ireland on the global stage.
