WYLDE ACQUIRES NAVI POSITION IN TOP EUROPEAN LEAGUE
Since its establishment in 2021, WYLDE has ambitiously climbed the ranks of the global Top 10 esports title Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Now the Ireland-based esports org has announced the acquisition of the Ukrainian esports org Natus Vincere (NAVI) slot in the Top Tier of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege. The acquisition approved by Ubisoft will enable WYLDE to compete in Tier 1 Blast R6 European League.
With real ambition to compete at the highest level, WYLDE has announced a proven and talented team, comprising Team Captain Maurice “AceeZ” Erkelenz, Lucas “Hungry” Reich, Peter “PacBull” Bull, Jesse “Jeggz” Ojanen and Edoardo “J3b” Treglia. The five players hailing from Germany, Italy, Finland and Northern Ireland have been carefully selected and bring extensive experience competing at the highest level of R6 along with innate talent. All five players have signed one-year contracts with the option of extending for an additional year. Joost “Zeus” Bliss retains his role as Head Coach having signed with WYLDE in 2021. While both Joshua “Sleepy” Franks retains his strategic analyst position and Denis ‘BZ’ Dupljak remains with the roster in a substitute player role.

The WYLDE R6 team is currently preparing for the start of the Tier 1 European League on March 13th and will compete alongside peers such as BDS, G2, KOI, Heroic, Team Secret & Wolves Esports.

The EU League (EUL) offers a combined annual prize pool of Euro €400,000, run by global esports event and experience company, Blast. Created to provide a competitive environment for the very best European teams, the EUL provides clear pathways to two Global Majors in 2023 and an opportunity to compete in the coveted Rainbow Six Invitational 2024 with a prize pool of $3 million.

The new WYLDE R6 team joins WYLDE’s existing teams competing in FIFA, the eponymous football franchise; Rocket League, a vehicle-based football game; and VALORANT, a 5-versus-5 tactical shooter.
