Rewarding Talent: “Pukis” Joins Wylde Academy
At WYLDE Esports Academy, development is about more than results. It provides
structure, support and opportunities for talented players to grow in the right
environment. The programme creates a setting where players can improve their
skills, build confidence and learn the value of teamwork alongside guidance from
experienced coaches.
One example of this approach is Rocket League talent Lukošius “Pukis” Adomas, the
first recipient of a WYLDE Academy Scholarship. At just sixteen, he has already
shown strong raw ability alongside the mindset required to thrive in a focused and
structured training setting.
Recently, in conversation with WYLDE staff, he highlighted the value of having a clear
programme, a mature environment and the chance to learn while building
connections with other players. For young talent, that balance between structured
guidance and competitive play makes a real difference both in-game and beyond,
while also giving parents confidence that their children are being supported safely
and receiving complete well-rounded training.
Early results are already reflecting his potential. Alongside teammates Attila
“bibbaba” Eötvös and Matheo “osaft” Hapke, and under the guidance of coach Sam
“LTXSam” Keogh, this newly formed team secured a top twelve finish in Europe in
the Rocket League Championship Series. A strong outcome that highlights both
promise and progress and reinforces why he was chosen as the first recipient of a
WYLDE Academy Scholarship.
Stories like this show what the WYLDE Academy is about. Identifying gifted players,
supporting them with trust and structure and helping them reach their full potential in
a way that goes beyond the server. The scholarship demonstrates that true talent is
recognised and rewarded and that the Academy is designed with players first. His
journey also shows other aspiring esports athletes that with dedication and the right
guidance, opportunities to grow and succeed are within reach.
