RLCS Open Trials Drive WYLDE’s 2026 Split 2 Lineup
WYLDE’s Rocket League open trials have gradually become a central part of their approach to talent development by offering emerging players a clear path into competitive play. By combining competitive gameplay with coaching insight and one-on-one evaluation, it assesses both individual skill and teamwork, creating an environment where development and performance go hand in hand.
This process already showed its value, especially last season, when the selection process led to a roster that went on to achieve strong results in RLCS Europe Open 2 and Open 3. That same structure carried into this year’s trials in March, where players were once again tested across both individual and team settings.
From this, a new roster for Split 2 began to take shape, keeping Adomas “Pukis” Lukošius from the previous lineup and adding Jonas “Shila” Cekrezi and Prysm.
Following their selection, the team stepped into RLCS Europe Regional Open 4 on the road to the Paris Major, securing a top 33 finish and narrowly missing out on Day 3. While still early in their time together, the performance offered a first glimpse of how the roster can compete at this level. So, with more time to develop synergy and build on that experience, there is clear potential for the team to progress further in upcoming competitions.
This initiative sits within the broader WYLDE Academy pathway, which continues to provide structured opportunities for players to develop and compete. As new talent moves through these systems, programs like this play an important role in strengthening the pathway from grassroots to the highest levels of competition.
